March 2009 - ICF announced a partnership with the Government of Mali to implement two new projects that will reduce the time and costs businesses spend resolving commercial and fiscal disputes.

ICF hosted its first journalist training workshop in Nairobi in partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation. The workshop is the first of six five-day introductory training workshops that form part of ICF’s comprehensive and long-term training programme for African journalists.

ICF signed an agreement with the Government of Burkina Faso to establish a new one-stop-shop for business and land registration, as well as simplify the application process for construction permits.
