ICF has won the prestigious ‘Best International Campaign’ award at the 2010 Public Relations Consultancy Awards (PRCAs). The award, announced in London on Tuesday 26th October 2010, celebrates ICF’s successful communication of improvements to Africa’s investment climate and ongoing work to improve Africa’s image as an investment destination

Oct 2010 - During the recent United Nations Summit in New York, world leaders gathered to discuss progress against the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. ICF urges African Governments to continue to step up efforts to increase the ease of doing business in their countries as a vital step towards sustaining and accelerating this growth

ICF’s Chief Executive Officer, Omari Issa addressed delegates at the 2010 Africa Investor Investment Climate Summit in Washington. He spoke about the criteria for creating an ideal investment climate and outlined that both African governments and the private sector have an increasingly important role to play if Africa’s vast investment potential is to be realised

Mar 2009 - ICF signed an agreement with the Government of Burkina Faso to establish a new one-stop-shop for business and land registration, as well as simplify the application process for construction permits.

ICF hosted its first journalist training workshop in Nairobi in partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation. The workshop is the first of six five-day introductory training workshops that form part of ICF’s comprehensive and long-term training programme for African journalists.

ICF announced a partnership with the Government of Mali to implement two new projects that will reduce the time and costs businesses spend resolving commercial and fiscal disputes.
